About Mike Chisholm
Mike Chisholm’s career began with an early interest in how systems work and how they can be improved. Raised in Canada, he studied business at California Coast University before earning his MBA at Ivey Business School, where he focused on management and operations. His early work placed him in logistics and customs brokerage, where he developed a practical understanding of supply chains and how small operational changes can lead to large financial outcomes. Those early years shaped the analytical mindset that would later define his career.
In senior leadership roles at companies such as Wil Son International and A&A Custom Brokers, Mike managed operations that required precision, discipline, and long-term planning. He worked across borders, solving problems related to efficiency, process design, and customer needs. These experiences gave him a direct view of how companies grow, stall, or lose focus. Over time, he began to recognize a pattern: many businesses struggle not because of market conditions, but because of the gap between their strategic goals and their daily execution. That observation became the foundation for his future advisory work.
Mike always had a strong drive for entrepreneurship. After two decades in executive management, he decided to apply what he had learned to help other business owners. He founded Chisholm Consulting Group Inc., a firm focused on business transformation, operational optimization, and value creation. Through his firm, he advises CEOs and boards on growth, acquisitions, and turnaround strategies. He later joined LEAP Strategy Partners as an Advisory Partner, expanding his work to include private equity–backed companies and large-scale restructuring projects.
His work today centers on improving organizational alignment, helping companies prepare for expansion or exit, and building systems that sustain value beyond leadership transitions.
